Almost A Fairytale

When the world frustrates me, I need to write something fun.

Mismatched in Love (Almost Cinderella) was my first Almost A Fairytale story, and I honestly wasn’t even thinking of Cinderella when I started. Once I read over my first draft, it felt so Cinderella-like, that the idea to write a series of novellas based on my favorite fairytales wouldn’t let me go.

Waiting to Fall: Almost Rapunzel is my second Almost a Fairytale novella. When I saw this picture, I knew I had to use this couple for Rapunzel’s story. A girl with a stunning voice, singing Christine’s role in Phantom of the Opera who shares the penthouse suite with her crazy aunt, meets a concierge who is doing everything in his power to make his life stable–until the girl in the penthouse turns it upside down.

Next will be Drowning in Love (Almost Ariel) and I’m pretty sure it needs to be set in The Bahamas, where I’ve spent some (but not nearly enough) time sailing.
